For me weddings are where it all started. I love beautiful weddings and I love the photos more.
I enjoy capturing the little moments no one else notices for you to keep forever. I take each wedding I do very seriously and enjoy meeting each couple in advance. Once I take a wedding on, you have my full commitment and are welcome to call me with details or ask advice anytime.
My style is very discreet and relaxed. I enjoy documenting the moments that make your day so special as well as the odd formal shot. I aim to capture a beautiful selection of shots that will be a lasting reminder of your day.
I attend all my weddings for a full day . Prices start from £1120 and all packages include an album with all images and online gallery. Pre-wedding shoots, boudoir gifts, rehersal dinner and day after are also available as well as trashing the dress and travel is encouraged. Want to know more click contact and lets meet.
Children and families are so much fun to shoot, whatever the season and where ever the shoot whether a country park, home or garden.
You can pack a lunch, bring the dog, or have a champagne reception at home.
Sessions are great fun and highly recommended by my lovely clients.
Your session
I am a location photographer so whether it's a country park, garden or your own home I will come to you. I am happy to suggest places to you or to travel to a location of your choice.
With families there is no such thing as a typical session. A shoot usually takes between 1-2 hours. Depending on the age of your children, how many are in the group you would like photographed and their own personalities shoots vary. I will liaise with you in advance to get the best from the shoot.
I do have a selection of props that I can liaise with you in advance as to whether they are approriate and how you would like your pictures to look.
I am happy to incorporate any pets, toys or trinkets you may wish to add into the shoot for your own reasons.
What to wear?
In order for your pictures to have an honest quality it is important you choose an outfit that is entirely YOU. Personally I prefer more casual clothes as the subject relaxes easier and there is no issue if I would like you to sit on the ground. Try to choose clothes that have a timless feel and are unlikely to date to quickly.
Thin stripes and bold prints as well as character tops are best avoided as they do dominate the picture.
Babies are best shot before they are 2 weeks and become more alert.
I don't think it is necessary to always strive for a babies eyes to be open and beautiful shots can be captured from a sleepy baby. After all that is what they do best.
I think most important with babies is that I come to you. It allows for you and your baby to be the most comfortable and to have everything needed at hand. Most sessions take from 1-2 hours.
I bring with me blankets, back drops, props, bean bags, allsorts, some may seem slightly odd but I promise if you can bear with me you will be happy with the results.
I am happy to incorporate any blankets, toys or trinkets you may wish to add into the shoot for your own reasons.
Babies are very cute in their tiny outfits but as they tend to scrunch themselves into tiny cute balls when posed babies are best photographed in the nude. Older babies can take nice pictures in white vests but in general babies are best photographed nude.
What do I need?
I will scout the best spot (usually for light) in your house to photograph and set up there. The only other thing I ask is that your baby has a full tummy and that the heating is turned up extra warm so they remain settled.
Don't worry about anything else as a mother I have seen it all :)
Portrait & Newborn Sittings
A sitting fee is £60 this secures your session for you and is non refundable.
Images are then available usually no more than 1 week later (via a password) to view online and purchase.

Me
I am a natural light photographer, based in Harlington, Bedfordshire, who specialises in fine art family and wedding photography. I undertake work locally as well as internationally.
I live with my husband and 2 children. Life is hectic as my work allows me to stay at home with my children most days. My children must qualify as some of the most photographed in the country.
I have been a professional photographer for 6 years now. Originally a wedding photographer when my eldest was born I realised I would have to rethink how to take a photograph to get the best images out of his cute baby skin and wrinkles. It was then that I decided to commit to natural light as it captures such beautiful colours, depth and textures. I take my inspiration from the likes of Jeff Ascough, Jasmine Star and Karen Pfeiffer.
As time has gone by my work has progressed to fine art photography and I aim to create timeless pieces of personalised art people can be proud to display forever.
